Our graduation ceremonies mark a special time when we celebrate and recognise the success and achievements of our students. It is also an important occasion for all those who have encouraged and supported our students during their time here and every year we are delighted to welcome our students along with their families and friends to the celebrations at our campus.
Due to the continuing spread and impact of Covid-19 coronavirus, the University of Central Lancashire has announced the postponement of its July 2020 graduation ceremonies.
The ceremonies have been rescheduled for December when UCLan’s winter graduation will be extended into a two-week celebration. Final-year students will be informed of the revised ceremony dates once they have been confirmed in the near future, and we will look forward to welcoming everyone to campus to celebrate the achievements of our students in December 2020.
For our latest updates and full statement please visit our information page.
If you can't be with your family or friends at their ceremony, we are live streaming the events in the Mitchell and Kenyon lecture theatre in Foster Building. View the ceremony dates and times, along with the timetable for the ceremonies.
This year, the graduation ceremonies will take place on campus at the Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre, whilst Graduate Registration and Robing will take place in the Engineering Innovation Centre (EIC). On arrival, please proceed to the EIC and follow the signs to the Registration and ticket collection desk.
If you're driving, there are a few road closures around campus at the moment so we recommend leaving a bit of extra time for your journey.
Following the ceremony, we invite graduates and their guests to join us in honouring the class of 2019.
Once the ceremony concludes, graduates and their guests will leave in a procession towards the Foster Social Space where a post-ceremony celebration event will take place for each ceremony.
